A very unique collection of limited edition bud vases made from stunning Irish Elm Burl.
This beautiful wood is quite rare in Ireland due to the decimation of Irish Elm trees caused by Dutch Elm disease.
These vases are made even more unique by using burl wood, a Burl is a growth found on the sides of a tree trunk, which contains the most spectacular grain formations and character.
Caring for your piece
Every piece is finished with natural, food-safe oil. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Every few months, rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the grain fed and the colour deep. Looked after this way it will last for generations.
