Hand-Turned 9” Native Irish Elm Centerpiece Bowl
Add a touch of timeless warmth to your home with this classic, hand-turned Irish Elm bowl. Crafted in my County Meath workshop, this 9-inch bowl showcases the dense, beautifully interlocking grain and rich chocolate-amber tones that make native Elm so highly prized by woodturners and collectors alike.
The interior of the bowl features a striking natural grain formation centered perfectly at the base, creating an eye-catching focal point that highlights the unique life story of the tree. With its clean, elegant curves and sturdy footed base, it balances rugged organic beauty with a highly refined, smooth finish.
This versatile mid-sized bowl is perfect for serving salads, holding fruit on a countertop, keeping keys tidy in an entryway, or simply sitting as a standalone artistic statement piece on a sideboard.

Caring for your piece
Every piece is finished with natural, food-safe oil. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Every few months, rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the grain fed and the colour deep. Looked after this way it will last for generations.
