The defining soul of this bowl is its breathtaking natural edge void. Rather than cutting away the tree’s natural shape to make a perfect circle, I have intentionally preserved this deep bark inclusion. The result is a dramatic, crescent-moon silhouette that showcases the rugged, raw texture of the original bark contrasting flawlessly against the glass-smooth, pale interior of the bowl.

Caring for your piece
Every piece is finished with natural, food-safe oil. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Every few months, rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the grain fed and the colour deep. Looked after this way it will last for generations.
