Hand-Turned Traditional Irish Wood Honey Dipper
Drizzle your local honey in style with a beautifully handcrafted, traditional wooden honey dipper. Hand-turned in my County Meath workshop from carefully selected native hardwoods, these dippers are as practical as they are elegant.

The deep, turned ridges are specifically engineered to trap honey cleanly as you lift it from the jar, allowing you to easily guide a perfect, golden stream over your morning porridge, toast, pancakes, or herbal teas with just a gentle turn of the handle.

  • Materials: Available in a variety of native timbers including Irish Ash, Oak, and Beech
  • Design: Ergonomically turned handle for a comfortable grip with traditional deep-cut honey combs.
  • Finish: Finished with a 100% natural, food-safe mineral oil to protect the wood while leaving it completely non-toxic and odor-free.
  • Dimensions: Approximately  6” long — designed to reach comfortably inside standard honey jars.
  • Care: Hand wash only with warm, soapy water and dry immediately. Do not submerge or place in a dishwasher. Re-oil occasionally with a drop of food-safe oil to maintain its lustre.

Caring for your piece

Every piece is finished with natural, food-safe oil. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Every few months, rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the grain fed and the colour deep. Looked after this way it will last for generations.
